Baitcasting Reel Specs
Saltwater/Freshwater 17 + 1bb Reel
LMA200 10 + 1bb Reel
Baitcasting reels are the choice of many experienced bass fishermen and are also used for pike, musky and other game fish. High quality reels are worth every cent and we have found some fantastic reels at a fraction of the cost of big brand name reels.
These are some of the finest reels I have used and are made at the same factories that make some of the big brand name reels. The only thing that is missing is a brand name. However, these reels are silky smooth, have composite frames and multiple stainless steel bearings and can handle any fishing situation the top dollar reels can handle. They can also handle any line from braid to mono.
We have tested many of these reels and are offering the best to you. An example is the saltwater/freshwater 17 + 1 ball bearing reel. You get a very high quality reel at a low price.
I Use These Baitcasting Reels
As the owner of Hammerhead Kayak Supply, I am fishing every chance I get. In fact, we try to close down each year and the entire crew heads to the Gulf of Mexico for some fantastic fishing. These are the reels I use in bass fishing and on the Gulf. While I still have a few name brand reels, I no longer purchase them anymore. The 17bb baitcaster is my go to reel and has been for many years.
A common mistake some people make who are new to baitcasting reels is to purchase an inexpensive, low performance reel to learn on. While these may be okay with heavy lures, such as spinner baits or weighted worms, they can be difficult to cast and perform poorly when using lighter crankbaits. It can be frustrating and you end up with more backlashes and less time fishing. These quality reels solve that problem for you.
The reels we offer have many of the qualities of the most expensive bait casters, but at a much lower cost. These reels sell fast. Whether you are just learning or have years of experience, you will not find a better reel for the price.
I would never expect a seasoned Shimano or Other brand name reel owner to jump fully on board with these lower cost reels. I have fished side by side with other fishermen and caught more fish than them and there were only good comments about the reel. A few asked me to let them cast mine once or twice. It's all good. But let's face it, almost all baitcasting reels these days and other types of reels are made in China, even the name brand ones sold in America. These companies also make the 17 bb reels I sell. I am not saying the reels we offer are equal to the finest and most expensive reels, but they easily equal many name brand reels costing $100 here. All reels requires you to cast a few times to find its proper adjustments, but once you do they are hard to beat. For the price you can't beat them.
